EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Gaffney started work at
Harrison-Hamnett, P.C. in 1995 and became an Associate with the
firm in 2003. Mr. Gaffney is responsible for Structural
Engineering Projects from conception and design development
through construction and project completion.
Mr. Gaffney maintains 10 years of
experience in the Engineering field and 15 years experience in
the construction industry. As a Design Engineer, he has been
responsible for the analysis, design and construction
coordination for new and renovated educational, commercial,
residential and industrial facilities. In addition, his skills
include structural investigations and surveys resulting in
written reports on structural conditions, preparation of
structural and architectural drawings, bid packages, scheduling
and field inspections.
Prior to joining Harrison-Hamnett, P.C.,
Engineers, Mr. Gaffney was employed as a Field and Design
Engineer with Safway Steel Scaffolds Company of Philadelphia.
While attending college, Mr. Gaffney was
employed by the architectural firm of Ewing Cole Cherry Parsky
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and an estimator with Crossing
Construction Company in Washington�s Crossing, Pennsylvania.
